A Message From Calabash Chairman
To all Calabash clients
I hope you are all keeping well.
Not surprisingly, with the heightened media coverage, we have received a number of enquiries about the issue of Coronavirus and what preventative measures Calabash are putting in place for our office staff and service drivers.
Official government guidance is constantly being updated to keep us all up with developments.
We know that people’s day-to-day lives are disrupted right now because of Coronavirus, and we’re working hard to ensure we provide the best service to you during this difficult period and try to keep service levels as good as possible. Furthermore, we are endeavouring to ensure that our staff/drivers are vigilant in trying to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as guided by the REC.
All Calabash staff are being checked to ensure the following:
- They have not travelled from, or through, any of the affected regions or any countries in Category 1&2 risk areas.
- They have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled to those countries.
- They have not been in close contact with any person (e.g. spouse, family member) who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
- They must telephone the office if they feel unwell (and not attend any site if so).
Furthermore;
Our drivers have instructions on other preventative measures to try to restrict the risk of the virus spreading while carrying out their duties.
Our own office has hand sanitizers installed for all of our employees to use.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions and queries regarding the above.
Kind regards
Julian
